A Big Change for CIR

Since 1965, many of you have known us as the Santa Fe Council on International Relations or CIR. Now we are announcing our new name – Global Santa Fe – and our tagline, “Connecting Our World.”

This change, led by our Board of Directors, has been in the works for over a year. It catapults the organization to the world stage, promising the exchange of global experiences and ideas. Together with the tagline, it’s a call to action for people in our communities to be globally informed citizens. 

This rebranding aligns us with our commitment to three key areas: Dialogue and Diplomacy, Student Engagement, and Cultural Exchange. We will continue to provide our members, our students and teachers, and our community with invaluable knowledge and exposure to the currents shaping our world, which is at the heart of all of our programs and all that we do.

Along with our new name, we will also be launching a new website. Look out here in the coming weeks for what will be an even better way to engage with our work.
