Cathy Kinney

Cathy Kinney served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tunisia, where she taught English and translated French and Arabic on the Project Hope medical ship. She holds a master’s degree in social work and a doctorate in community psychology from the University of Michigan. Her career has included roles as an social worker in community mental health, an executive in hospitals and health care systems, and a consultant in community health, performance improvement, strategic planning, leadership coaching, measurement systems, and startup of major initiatives. She has also served in governance roles on health, foundation, and social service boards and national advisory groups in clinical and community health. Cathy has assisted with the IVLP and education programs of CIR for several years now.
