Jim Falk

Jim is the producer and host of The Forum, a weekly public-affairs program
broadcast on KSFR-FM in Santa Fe, NM. He also hosts a monthly
podcast WorldNow with Jim Falk, where he engages leading voices on
international issues shaping today’s headlines.
From 2001 to 2021, Jim served as President and CEO of the World Affairs
Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, transforming the organization into one of the nation’s most respected regional forums for global dialogue. Upon his retirement, he was elected president emeritus.
He is a member of the advisory boards of The Asia Society, Texas Center, and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Over the course of his career, Jim has interviewed an extraordinary range of influential figures in politics, diplomacy, history, and literature, including several secretaries of states, Pulitzer Prize authors, elected officials and global leaders. Widely recognized as a curator of conversation for his ability to ask incisive questions and guide substantive, engaging dialogue, Jim is frequently invited by corporations, foundations, universities, and international organizations to moderate high-level discussions on domestic and foreign policy.
Jim is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and earned a Master of Arts degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. He and his wife Terrell moved to Santa Fe in 2021.
