Jessie Dickter (she/her) joined CIR as an intern in August, 2021, and in November began working full-time as a Program Coordinator. Jessie coordinates IVLP programming, manages membership activities, and supports Global Santa Fe’s daily operations as needed. Jessie was born and raised in Santa Fe, and is grateful to be back in her hometown working with Global Santa Fe.

Jessie received her BA in International Security and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University. During her undergraduate years she studied abroad in Colombia and Ecuador where she developed an insatiable desire to continue to travel and learn about the world outside of the U.S. Jessie’s knowledge of and passion for global affairs has been enhanced by her time working and volunteering with Middle Eastern refugee communities, Mexico-USA border activists, and grassroots immigrant rights organizations. These experiences deepened her understanding of the realities and impacts of US foreign policy, and of the cultural humility she must constantly employ in order to successfully work in the field of global affairs.
