COVID Policy
COVID-19 | Our protocol for in-person programs
The risk of exposure to COVID-19 remains inherent in any public setting. It is important to acknowledge that COVID-19 is highly contagious and can lead to severe illness or death. Thus, by attending Global Santa Fe events, members and guests voluntarily assume the risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
As COVID-19 continues to produce variants that impact our community, Global Santa Fe is adopting health and safety measures to reduce the spread of disease. We will remain flexible and modify our protocol as conditions warrant, including following CDC, Santa Fe and New Mexico guidelines.
The following precautions will be taken at all Global Santa Fe in-person events:
Attendees must provide proof of vaccination, proof of a negative COVID-19 test within
the past 72 hours, or a letter from a medical doctor, stating that your physical condition or medical circumstances are such that immunization is not considered safe and indicating the specific nature and probable duration of the medical condition or circumstances that contraindicate immunization with the COVID-19 vaccine. We will keep any documentation you share on file for your added convenience in attending future Global Santa Fe events. Accepted forms of proof include:
- Photocopy of vaccination card –received by mail or delivered to Global Santa Fe’s offices at least 24 hours in advance of your first scheduled event, or brought to the event
- Electronic copy (PDF or JPG) of vaccination card emailed at least 24 hours in advance of your first scheduled event to regan@sfcir.org
- Digital image of vaccination card on mobile device brought to event
As much as we are able, we will encourage and enable social distancing during events.
In accordance with the State of New Mexico, mask-wearing will be optional.
If you feel sick or have concern that you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you please stay home to prevent risk of further spread. If this is the case, we will credit your registration
to a future event.
Should an in-person Global Santa Fe event face cancellation for any reason, we will shift to a virtual presentation as we are able or if not, credit your registration to a future event.
