The Youth Leadership Diplomacy Program has adapted The National Museum of American Diplomacy’s learning objectives as a credible standard, which promotes the nine key skills of diplomacy.

Diplomacy is the art and practice of building and maintaining relationships and conducting negotiations with people using tact and mutual respect. Anyone can learn diplomacy skills, which complement national, state, and district outcomes dedicated to preparing students for success in the 21st century.

The curriculum implementation is enriched by engaging Global Santa Fe’s Members & International Visitors from the International Visitors Leadership Program, New Mexico educators, leaders & experts, layering the content with a rare opportunity for intergenerational exchange and mentoring.
